The Ouray FSJ Invasion is an annual gathering for Full Size Jeep enthusiasts to explore the stunningly beautiful scenery along the backroads near Ouray, Colorado.
We hope you'll join us for this year's Ouray FSJ Invasion.
Use this site to plan lodging accommodations at the KOA, plan to attend events, and find trails you want to run, and more.
The tradition began in the summer of 2002 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the FSJ.
Planned and hosted by Colorado Full Size Jeep Association, a whopping 100 FSJs and 200 people from all over the country (a few from overseas) attended and for three fun-filled days, they enjoyed trail rides, a massive catered BBQ, a raffle, and a show-n-shine.
Krista and Flint, two of the original FSJ Invasion planners, continued the tradition for over 10 years, as less formal gatherings, with attendance ranging from a handful of FSJ owners to dozens.
In 2015 they passed the torch to Scott, a long time CFSJA member, and Michael, the original planner of the 2002 Invasion. They'll carry on the storied tradition of KOA bonfires, high altitude adventures, vapor lock, and other fun that only FSJ folks can understand.
FSJ Invasion HQ is at the Ouray KOA (see map below). To make reservations, call the Ouray KOA, ask for Dave or Deborah, the owners, and tell them you are with the "FULL SIZE JEEP" group (don't say "FSJ" or they might think you're with the Toyota FJ people).
Sites are going fast! Call before December 1, 2017!
Once you get your site, let us know by adding your name to our list. The KOA site map is below with the list of attendees and their sites.
You could also stay in one of the many Ouray hotels. (Google Maps listing)
BBQ Pot Luck & RaffleThursday, July 19, 4:30pm - KOA Site 47/47A
The pot luck is a great way to get everyone together and socialize! Cost is only $2 a head, same as last year, and all proceeds will go to the Ouray Mountain Rescue.
We need your help. Can you bring supplies? Can you help with the cooking, serving, or clean up?
Every year we do a raffle, giving away lots of awesome FSJ-related goodies donated by big vendors as well as smaller vendors in the FSJ community. Watch here for updates on raffle prizes, dates, etc.
All proceeds will go to the Ouray Mountain Rescue. In 2017, we raised over $1700 from raffle tickets, t-shirt sales, and Pot Luck!
